From Pig Roasting to Seattle

The Pig Roast went off without a hitch. We had beautiful weather and a very good turn out (about 50 people)! Our friend Tom, works with the BBQ company where we got the hog. His butchering skills were very impressive he detailed body parts and where cuts of meat come from. I witnessed the removal of the tenderloin very interesting and equally delicious!

So, now we are in Seattle for a conference. We got an awesome deal through expedia. Photos of the hotel bathroom and the views to follow.

I love Summer!!

Summer is here! I love it. We are looking forward to the remodelling party next weekend. Jason is chronicling the stages via written commentary and photos on his personal blog, Section J. Check it out. He will be adding more installments until the ultimate completion.

School is going pretty well. I am learning about Inventory managment this week and how to account for various events. I was feeling very overwhelmed after the last class. I said a prayer before studying yesterday and a miracle happened! I started to 'get it'. I was able to finish my homework virtually painfree! I am thankful and will be saying another prayer tonight as I move onto the next Chapter.

Hope everyone is doing well.

IIIIIII'mmmm Back

I'm back to the blog. We have officially finished all of the installations and other B.S. New pictures on my photo album. Tomorrow we go to Durham to find Paige a new apartment for August (when she starts school). It should be alright, we are meeting some of our friends up there. I rode my bike for the first time in a long while. I rode on the street, saved a painted turtle crossing the rode. At the rate he was moving, his ass was grass. Got chased by two dogs. I told Paige as much as I like dogs, and I will do everything in my power to avoid a confrontation, but I will break their neck if I have to. Good incentive to go faster, however, people shouldn't leave dogs in the yard without supervision. So we'll see if I have to break a dogs neck, I hope not. TTYL.
